Dulcie is OFA certified "excellent" 

Dulcie CERF'd (no ocular abnormalities - including PPM) in September, 2003.

Dulcie's T3 and T4 levels (thyroid) were well within normal limits as of September, 2003.

Dulcie is test striped monthly for urine glucose, and is negative to date

Dulcie's sire was euthanized at age 15+ on 1-17-04 due to sudden onset rear leg paralysis, probably due to spondylosis (calcification of the vertebrea in his lower back).   He test striped negative for urine glucose, as of December 21, 2003,  had minor iris-to-iris PPM, and was OFA certified "good"

Dulcie's dam is alive and well at 9+  years of age.  She test strips negative for urine glucose, CERF'd in August 2001 and is OFA certified "good"

Dulcie has all of the necessary minor points for her AKC conformation Championship, plus multiple major reserves.  

Dulcie is a sweet, affable, occasionally silly Basenji girl who enjoys visitors and meeting new people.  She is not "hyper" and enjoys yard time and couch time in equal measure!  Dulcie is also a cuddle-bug, and will curl up on a vacant lap if given the opportunity.  In the show ring, Dulcie's strengths are her lovely open side-movement,  feminine type,  correct size and proper angulation.    She is also, of course, a much-loved member of the New World household....
